Held on gold mining terrain on the outskirts of Castlemaine in what was one of the world's richest alluvial goldfields. The legacy is a fascinating orienteering terrain.
Sunday 27th September: Victorian Long Distance Championship
Classic Victorian Spur gully with rock features and some gold mining
Tuesday 29th September: Australian Schools Individual Championships and 'Mid-Week Match-Race Mayhem'
Wednesday 30th September: Australian Schools Relay Championship and 'Goal Fever Points Race'
Two days in the fast, open box-ironbark forest terrain on the outskirts of Bendigo. This is fast spur/gully terrain with a challenging contour structure. A terrain for the connoisseur of fun terrain.
Friday 2nd October: Australian Sprint Championship
To be held in a riverside park with a mix of park and bush terrain set on a series of islands joined by pedestrian bridges.
Saturday 3rd October: Australian Long Distance Championship
Sunday 4th October: Australian Relay Championship
Two events held in quality Australian granite terrain, providing a mix of fast and open plateaus, rocky spurs and areas strewn with boulders providing challenging navigation.
