Directions: From Bendigo, via Eppalock Rd to Axe Ck church, turn right into Axe Ck Rd, thence 3.5km to Patons Rd, turn left and continue for approx 5km. From Melbourne, via Calder Hway, turn off to Sutton Grange, continue north to Axe Ck Rd, veering right and continuing to Patons Rd, then turn right, and continue for approx 5km.

Directions: From Bendigo, travel 7.1 km North from the fountain on the Midland Hwy. Turn left into Howard St (traffic lights), continue 3.3 km, turning right into Eaglehawk Neilborough Rd. After about 300 metres, continue through the S bend towards Neilborough with care and follow O’signs to assembly area. Mass start at 1.00 pm. Novice course available.

Directions: From Bendigo At the fountain travel out Mitchell St over the railway line and continue along Carpenter St to the cemetery and veer left along Spring Gully Rd. After the Spring Gully school turn right up Burns St(O sign) then Left into Diamond Hill Rd and Left again into Kangaroo Gully Rd. Watch for O signs. From Melbourne: Travel past the Clive Peters store in Kangaroo Flat and take the next turn right into Taylor St. Turn left at top of hill, travel parallel to railway line till T intersection and then right under railway bridge. Continue to the T intersection and turn right into Kangaroo Gully Rd. Follow Kangaroo Gully Rd to O signs. This will be a chance for you to test yourself against the clock, and the diverse terrain of Kangaroo Gully.

18 May 2009: Bendigo Orienteers perform well at the National Selection Trials

Six Bendigo Orienteers ran in the Australian selection trials for the World Championship later this year in Hungary. The three races (sprint. middle and long) were hosted by the ACT. The group achieved 6 top ten placings. Results were:
