The terrain is urban gold mining at a scale of 1:5,000.<br />
Three mass start sprint events starting at 1.00PM, 1.30PM and 2.00PM. 
Classic: 3k, 1:5,000 map, 1.00pm start
Hagaby: 2.8k, 1:4,000 map, 1.30 start
Orientshow: 3.4k, 1:2,500 map, 2.00pm start

There will also be a moderate navigation and an easy course. <br />
PRE-ENTRY REQUIRED FOR THE ORIENTSHOW. Not for the novice or easy course. This is to enable the organiser to allocate each competitor to their unique course.

DESCRIPTION:Start is located near the Old Gower School site on the bitumen road halfway between Castlemaine and Maldon. Come via Castlemaine then take the Maldon road or come via Maldon and take the Castlemaine road. Turn into bush at signpost Old Gower School and follow O signs. Five courses: A (6.5 km), B long (5.6 km), B short (4.0 km), C medium (3.4 km), D easy (2.9 km). Terrain is typical goldfields bush with a few hills.
